Find the angle formed by the hands of the clock  at  8 o'clock  and the angle formed  at  4:30 o'clock.

At 8 o'clock the hands form an angle of 360°/3 = 120°.  At 4:30 o'clock they form an angle of 90°/2 = 45°.
